About Me

Christine Hines

BA (Hons), PGCE, DHP, MAPHP, LCPS, LHS, AAMET

Christine Hines is a successful and experienced professional hypnotherapist and works with clients from all over the north of England in her consulting room in Ilkley, West Yorkshire and from much further afield by telephone.

Christine has an honours degree in Social Administration, including a study of Psychology, from Manchester University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Administration from Bradford University and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Leeds University.

It was a long-standing desire to investigate complementary methods of optimising health and general well being that then lead her to become a qualified aromatherapist, a hypnotherapist and in more recent years an EFT Practitioner.

She has professional qualifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Advanced Hypnoanalysis and Advanced Emotional Freedom Techniques.

Committed to Continuing Professional Development, Christine has attended seminars in IBS, HypnoBirthing, Stop Smoking and Quantum Healing. In September 2005 she attended a workshop in the UK where Gary Craig, founder of EFT, demonstrated the art of EFT for serious diseases. Christine has also attended EFT conferences where she has acted as an emotional helper for others attending the event.

As a member of the Association for Professional Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy, The Hypnotherapy Society, The Counselling Society and the Association for the Advancement of Meridian Energy Techniques, Christine abides by a strict code of professional ethics, including having undergone her own therapy and receiving on-going supervision.
